"The R. Jack Middlemass Memorial Scholarship was established out of love for Jack and inspired by Jack’s love for baseball and its athletes. In the spirit of Jack’s desire to help others achieve, the fund assists aspiring young people in pursuit of post secondary education. In helping further their scholastic endeavours, the scholarship provides recipients with greater opportunity to excel in life and contribute to the community"
