During the weekend of August 26th to 28th, the 15U, 16U and 17U EBLO Championships were played.
The 15U and 16U Championships were played in Brampton with each age series being represented by the 4 division winners. For 15U the representatives were the Whitby Canadians, Vaughan Vikings (replacing North Toronto A's, who were away at the 15U Nationals), Mississauga Majors (08's) and Hamilton Cardinals. The 16U age series was represented by the Whitby Canadians, Etobicoke Rangers, Mississauga North High Performance and Milton Mets.
Congratulations to the Whitby Canadians organization as both their 15U and 16U teams captured the EBLO Championship at their respective age series.
The 17U Championships were hosted by Northumberland and played as a double knockout format. The participating teams included the Brampton Royals, Cambridge Cubs, Leaside Leafs, Northumberland Jack's, Oakville A's, West Toronto Wildcats and Whitby Canadians. Cambridge was able to outlast their opponents and claim their crown as 17U EBLO Championships.
