Baseball Ontario Partners with Future Stars Series of Program 15


Cambridge, February 20, 2020

Baseball Ontario is pleased to announce a partnership with the Future Stars Series of Program 15. Based out of Texas, Program 15 provides both individual and team events across the United States and has recently expanded to cover Quebec, through ABC (Académie Baseball Canada) and British Columbia, through Baseball BC.

Program 15 will conduct two Combines in 2020, with one scheduled for May and the other scheduled for September.


The Combines will provide players with the following:

- MLB Scout Report

- Developmental plan

- Vision testing and report

- Blast motion swing analysis

- Scoutcast player and Video metrics

- Multi angled HD video paired with

- P velo out of hand

- EV ‐ spin rate o V launch angle

- H launch angle

- Distance o Extension

- Plate Velo

- New Balance Shirt and Hat

The two Combines will serve as Player Identification and Development events. Regional amateur players will be evaluated by PROGRAM 15 Professional Scouts for selection to attend the Future Stars Series World Combine and potential invitation to join the World Team Roster for the Future Stars Series International Week. The annual signature event of New Balance Baseball and PROGRAM 15 is held at Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox.

Jeremy Booth, PROGRAM 15 Founder, CEO and President of Baseball Operations for The New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series said, “We’re very happy to take this next step with the governing body to help as many Ontario players as possible. It’s exciting to start this relationship with Baseball Ontario now and watch it grow over time with the integration of events to help players achieve their goals.”

Baseball Ontario’s elite division (EBLO) will host the scheduled Combines with both events open to all players in the EBLO, Baseball Ontario local associations and all Baseball Ontario “Recognized Programs”.

The Combines and opportunities to be part of the Future Star Series events will provide exposure and development benefits for players in Ontario.”
