Elite Baseball League of Ontario 2018 Showcase Tournament
May 25-27 proved to be a perfect weekend for baseball in the GTA, as the 3rd Annual Elite Baseball League of Ontario hosted its Showcase Tournament. This year featured 3 divisions, 17u/18u with hosts from Oshawa, Whitby and Ajax. The 16u and 15u divisions were hosted by Brampton, Etobicoke, Mississauga and Toronto.
In the 18u division, 24 teams competed through a round robin format. The Tecumseh Thunder took home the trophy by beating North Toronto 6-3 in the finals. The 16u division featured 16 teams, with the Vaughan Vikings beating the Burlington Bulls. The 15u division comprised of 24 teams, the champions, Oshawa 12-2 over the Brampton Royals
