The Brampton Royals 18U team will be representing Ontario at the Baseball Canada 18U National Championships in Sherbrooke, QC, August 18-22. The team achieved the honour of representing Ontario by winning the 20 team Baseball Ontario Midget AAA Elimination Tournament.
The tournament was played July 29-31 and was a double knock out format. The Royals 18U team went 7-1 on the weekend. They were the only team to play 8 games over the three day span and the only team of 5 heading into Sunday play, that did not receive a bye. The team endured playing two games on Friday, three games on Saturday and three games on Sunday. The team looks forward to representing Ontario at the Nationals in Quebec.
