Midget Eliminations Tournament 2015

It was a great display of talent at the 2015 Midget Elimination Tournament. 5 Midget Elite League teams made it to the quater finals, 3 in the semis finals, with West Toronto losing in the finals to the London Badgers.
Quarter finals: West Toronto vs. Hamilton
Christian Pandoff pitched a complete game shutout to lift the West Toronto to a 4-0 win over Hamilton at Millcroft diamond. Pandoff kept Hamilton off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the mound. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out 8. Micheal Cecchetto was 2-2 and Tommy Nguyen hit his 4th homerun of the season
Quarter finals: Brampton 1 vs. London
Brampton beat London in a 11-8. The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with three lead changes. Brampton went up for good on a two-run single by Jack Caswell, scoring Zachary Fascia and Michael Sookdeo. Caswell racked up four RBIs on a homerun and single. Anil Sukhnandan got the win in relief for the Brampton. Sukhnandan pitched three innings and allowed two runs.
Quarter finals: Newmarket vs. Etobicoke
Newmaket beat Etobicoke 10-9 in 9 innings. This was another high scoring game with Newmarket coming out on top. The game started out with a 9 run 1st inning for Newmarket. Etobicoke chipped away and tied the game in the bottom of the 7th.
Semi-Finals: Newmarket vs. London
Newmaket lost to London 11-1. Newmarket gave it their best but it wasnt enough to stop the London offense.
Semi-Finals: West Toronto vs. Brampton 1
Both the West Toronto and Brampton put runners aboard on Sunday, but it was the West Toronto that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 9-5 win at Millcroft diamond.
The game's lead went to the West Toronto thanks to a first inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on an RBI double by Taka Ryan and an RBI single by Nguyen. Tommy Nguyen was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.
Three runs in the bottom of the third helped Brampton close its deficit to 6-3. A sacrifice fly by Christian Hauck, an RBI single by Seelman, and an RBI single by Dawson Fascia set off the rally.

Finals: West Toronto vs. London
Despite a big day at the dish from Dennis Dei Baning, who finished 2-2, the West Toronto lost 11-1 to London at Nelson Stadium on Sunday.
The game was never in doubt after the first, as London scored four runs on an RBI double by Mansfield and a three-run home run by Keys.
London increased its lead with three runs in the second. The inning got off to a hot start when Lofgren homered. That was followed up by Lamont's single, scoring Lichty and Mommersteeg.
